I accept with the "self and don't care attitude", its very much true. But, i think all the developed countries are full of people like this. Moreover, that selfish attitude and competitiveness will strive towards success in everything, which brings the overall country's success & development. But, I don't think that workshops and all are necessary, when the competition is healthy. But, considering India, we might get into the track of inhumanity someday. I see, the difference with other countries is that, they are more diversified than us.
Diversity in the sense of work and careers. They have many options to choose. Coming to our country, as we all know, we compete for the same small space and we compete in large numbers. (I think usage of the adjective "large" would be very small in this scenario :)) We have to look into the diversity of career options in India. The workshops may be needed for improving this dimension, for a more developed country in various areas and fields of research.

By the way, I am Srivatsav, friend of geetha. Your blog is very simple and good. Your thoughts are provoking, you have a good leader in you.

Very well written, Abhi...the being of oneself to "be" one of these beings you have mentioned is what defines the character of a person.

U are right abi....there is a serious conflict of interest between the ant and the elephant..Even vivekananda explains the same concept in his complete works.

Ultimately it is the MAN who must to take a pause, think and check to route he takes in his life..

Good thought ..keep it up..and keep posting..

You have highlighted two key characteristics which a human being must posess. I believe that these two traits differentiate a human being from an animal.Well written !! In my second post, were you able to figure out who the person sitting behind me in the bike ride from Taj Coromandel was ?? Read it once again if you havent figured out the answer.
